    Re: 116 marks in IBPS Clerk exam and belongs to SC category, chances of getting job in Banks?

    Dear kiran
    To be very frank your score IBPS score is quite low. 116 marks out of 250 is not a good score at all. so i think you should prepare for next IBPS examination and work hard to score good score. Their are huge number of candidates who have obtained more tha 150 marks. so in my view you have no chance.

    WHEN BANK WILL CONDUCT INTERVIEW::

    For final selection of the candidates each bank will conducts their own interview/G.D. For interview round each participating banks will publish notification containing all the details such as educational qualification ,age limit, salary detail etc. The notification can be found from the official website of the banks . employement news and other national dalies.

    WHO CAN APPLY-

    The candidates who are qualified in the CWE examination conducted by IBPS and meet the all other requirement by the banks can apply for the interview round through the official website of the particular bank.

    LATEST NOTIFICATION-

    Bank of baroda- 2000 posts
    official website- www.bankofbaroda.com
    Last date to apply 10th april 2012.

    Dear Aspirant,

    -->> You are Schedule Caste candidate with 116 marks in IBPS.

    -->> The passing marks for SC was 105 marks with minimum 21 marks in all sections.

    -->> So dear you are at the bottom position in merit list.

    -->> There are 4.5 to 4.75 lacs candidates who have scored more from your score.

    -->> The upcoming vacancies in various banks will be in thousands not lacs.

    -->> So real picture says that you will not get any interview call.

    -->> But if you are from any backward states like Andaman and Lakshdeep or Daman or Diu or the north eastern states like Tripura or Meghlaya or Nagalant then you may get call otherwise no chances.

    Re: 116 marks in IBPS Clerk exam and belongs to SC category, chances of getting job in Banks?

    Can't say exactly the reason is that cut off marks is high.
    Bank of Baroda has provided the clerk interview details with cut off marks & it is too high.Less than 130 marks won't give you guarantee to apply for clerk interview.
    BOB's cut off marks is very high,if other banks also provide same cut off marks like BOB then chances will decrease to apply for interview.
    But I think that cut off marks will be down slowly & slowly as the process goes on.For more information visit www.bankofbaroda.com

    Hi friend,

    Frankly speaking, 116 in SC category is not a very high score enough to get a call from the banks for interview. Moreover, it depends on the number of vacancy a bank notifies and it also depends which state you belong to because clerk vacancies are being notified state wise.

    All the best

    Hello dude!

    Getting 116 marks in IBPS EXAM is not so difficult because that score is easily achievable.But as you are from S.C CATEGORY there are few chances for getting an Interview call.

    So start preparing for the Interview test.The interview is going to be very tough because there are Lakhs of candidates who have got qualified in the exam.

    * Try to prepare sincerely.

    * Concentrate on Aptitude,puzzles and solve more riddles.

    * Try to speak in English only.

    * Don't be silent with the Interviewer,try to speak out.

    * Appearance also makes a big impact,you need to dress properly.

    * Try to refer different questions that are asked previously.

    * Prepare mentally for the interview..

    The above mentioned are the interview tips.

    HOPE THE INFORMATION HELPED YOU AND ALL THE BEST.
