ibps is the national wide exam and the qualifiers will be placed from the 21 national banks

the minimum cut off marks for general catagory is

general: 160

sc:150

obc:155

the general catogory candets who ever got more then 160 will be qualified

Advertisement date is not fixed it depends on the vacancy created so that you will periodically check the news paper or web site or employment news so that you will know about the exam.
There are not fixed cut off for general catagory every time it will depend on no of candidates appeared , no of vacancy fill up , performance of the candidates so it will differ exam by exam but for generally around 150 cut off for general catagory.

As you got more than cut off you have full chances for getting the interview call because for obc the cut off is around 120 and you got more than that so start the preparation for the interview and wait for the interview call.

my friend your marks are too low ane if you belongs to general category then

I am sorry to say that your chances are less to get a interview call .

As banks call for 3 to 4 times for interview if the seat after that be vacant

then you may get a chance for interview as score card is valid for one year

from the date of issue ...

So wait if you will get a call or not ...

sorry to say but my friend ..its quite not possible to get a call from any bank because there are many candidates as in Lakhs who have scored more than 160-180
they will be invited for the call as the bank first preference ..

Some banks have invited 124 for general or 121 for others in the month of march now at present there are vacancies in dena bank or Bank Of India

Every bank decided the own cut off so on the basis of the cut off of the banks you have to call for the interview ..

these banks cutoff for the general 135 marks so you can apply for the interview in these banks..

These banks first give the preference for the above the 160 marks students then after the according to the vacancies posts call for the rank between the 140 to 160 marks students...

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is the Organizing body which conducts the Examinations for the selection of candidates.The selection Procedure is mainly dependent on the Common Written Examination Which is agreed by the 19 banks which are participating in the recruitment criteria.IBPS selects the candidates who had qualified in the examinations and mainly there are two different catagories of posts available.Clerical Cadre and the PO's mainly.
The clerical cadre examination is conducted and this is the entry level of the post in the banks and there are certain eligibility criteria and the examination pattern which must be followed....

Eligibility Criteria for the Clerical cadre:
>>Age limit-
You must be attained the age of 18 years and must not exceed the age of 28 years....
Age relaxations:
SC/ST-5 years
BC's-3 years
PH-10 years
>>Educational qualifications-
You must have completed the 10 th class and candidates who had completed other then the 10th class are also eligible......
These are the eligibility Criteria which must be followed....

For General category:-
1. Reasoning - 24 marks
2. Quantitative Aptitude - 24 marks
3. English - 24 marks
4. Computer awareness - 24 marks
5. General awareness with special reference to banking industry - 24 marks
