    Hello ,

After B.Tech you can either pursue your higher studies or work in some MNCs. I would suggest you to work
for two to three years in some reputed company and gather valuable work experience. Initially you can work
in any of the following companies,

    GE etc

The above mnetioned companies are reputed so work between two to three years in any of these
companies will be of immense help in terms to experience and knowledge expertise.

If you want to study after that you can do your MBA from top tier B-Schools in India. CAT or XAT
would be the preffered choice to you.

A graduation degree in any form is enough to build a successful career,if the individual tries hard, there will be many opportunities after graduation. Both in the private and the government sector.yes there are some limitations for the private sector, they generally recruit the candidates with the master degree, but in the government sector the graduation is just the right stage to apply, many post and vacancies require only graduation, hence in the government sector the graduation is good enough. But in the private sector it becomes difficult to get a job with the bachelor degree only. But in your case, the situation is absolutely different as the B.TECH is the only bachelor degree which has great importance and value in both the private and the government sector.

One can establish his/her career well with a B.TECH degree, you can try both in the private and in the government sector,as a engineering graduate you will get good high salary job. So its up to you to decide,if you make up your mind, then you will get the job with the bachelor degree only, you might have to toil hard in order to get one but you will land with a good one for sure.Specially if your choice is government sector, then you just have to study at all,the bachelor degree is just enough, the different government sectors like army, air force, navy, railways, bank,ISRO,DRDO,BSNL etc all of them entertain the engineering graduates.Yes you can do one thing,if you can sit for the GATE entrance, then it will help you,a good GATE score helps to get the job in ONGC,ISRO,DRDO etc.all are government sector.

In the private sector, also you will be welcomed ,specially in the software field but you make sure what to do,it will be good if you complete your masters if you wanna have career in the private sector, that will enhance your possibilities.

After your B.tech, if you get a job, then it's better if you move on with the jobs for a couple of years. But if you don't have that option, then it's better if you go for your higher studies. You can also opt for the higher studies after a couple of years of job experience. As this will be much more valued when you look for jobs after your masters.

    Hello dude!

This is a very common confusion for the candidates recently, they are very confused whether to go for job or pursue higher studies by writing entrance exams like IES or GATE.The answer is quite simple;everything depends on your confidence. If you think you deserve something above that private company then you should try for luck for IES EXAM but you must keep your percentage high to match your capacity.Remember one thing Colleges other than IIT's or NIT's or few other good universities will land you in same boat or Infosys,Tcs even after two years.

If you are able to make it into IIT's or NIT's then grab it,just getting admission in IIT's or NIT's will not gaurantee you anything more than Infosy,Tcs or other private companies. If you want more you need to work hard more and prove that you deserve more.Higher education now will give you a chance to wipe your mistakes you did in B.tech.

Remember one thing everyone who joins for higher education is same as you, very competant and came there to make a differrence.Don't ever think that companies select you only based on skills even if your score less its o.k because you studied in good colleges.Just to make it clear most of the colleges select candidates based on CGPA.Another reason for higher studies after b.tech would be your research attitude. If you think you are suitable for research and want to contribute to Scientific development for humanity. You like power and independence more than money then i suggest you to enjoy IITs and NITs for sometimes and then try for Phd in some of the top universities of the world.

If none of the above suits you,I mean you don't have patience to sit and read for 1 more year and want to be independent or need to support family.I strongly recommend to go with your job and after certain period you can try for higher studies. So i think you have understood the various career options.
