    Hi Guest,

    The age limit for TNPSC exam is 21 years to 30 years


    There is no relaxation age for general categories


    For OBC candidates the relaxation age is 3 years


    For SC/ST candidates the relaxation age is 5 years


    For PHC the relaxation age is 10 years

    Hello dude!

    Tamil Nadu public service commission conducts Group I,II,III and IV exams for the posts under government sector.The age limits for the posts are mentioned below:
    • Minimum age allowed is 18 years and applicable for all categories.
    • The maximum age is 30 years.
    • The candidates belonging to SC/ST category will get 5 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to OBC category will get 3 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to Physically handicapped category will get 10 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to Ex-service men category will get 5 years upper age relaxable.
    So these are the age limits of TNPSC exams.

    Hi,
    Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission
    your age should be between 18 to 30 years. Relaxation for reserved candidate have 35 year.
    you have to pass your Graduation in Tamil Nadu.
    You should be fluent in Tamil Language.
    Selection Procedure for TNPSC exams
    1. You have to Attend written examination of 300 marks of 3 hours duration.
    2. The TNPSC written exam is divided in two parts:
    2.1. General Knowledge (Degree Std.) 150 marks
    2.2. General Tamil / General English 150 marks.

    53 years of age in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (other than Muslim) and Backward Classes (Muslim).
    48 years of age in the case of Others on the 1st July of the year in which the selection is made

    TNPSC Exam Age limit :

    Min of age limit 18 years & max of age limit 33 years

    The Upper age relaxation as per govt rules

    3 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates

    5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates

    i put my 5 years service in central govt and i belong to BC, can i appear for group 1, tnpsc exams?

    Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducts Group II exams for Various Posts like Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Junior Employment Officer, Assistant in Law Department, Audit Assistant in Highways Department and many other various Post.

    Group II exams: Criteria & Eligibility
    The minimum age limit is 18 years.
    The maximum age limit is 33 years.
    For government employees there is no relaxation. It is the same as for normal citizen.

    Eligibility criteria for Group-1 & Group-2 exam are as below given:
    - Candidate should be between 18 and 30 years of age as on July 1st.
    - Though there are certain services for which the lower and upper age limit
    may be different. There is no upper age limit for reserved categories.
    - Educational Qualifications vary according to the service the candidate
    applies for and will be available with the admission notification.

    Also as the qualification & eligibility criteria is different for different post i would suggest you that please do refer Employment Newspaper for notification.
