Age relaxation for OBC applying for a governemnt job in unreserved category?

I am applying for a job in state government in Unreserved category. The age limit for UR Category is 33 years. I am 34 years and belong to OBC Category. Can I get the job in UR category, but considering age relaxation criteria for RC (Reserved Category).

What shall I do to get the said job?

I COMPLETED MY SSC IN 1996.THAN I COMPLETED MY MY I.T.I DIESEL ENGINEERING COURSE IN 1999.NOW I AM PURSUING B.COM FINAL YEAR AND NOW MY DATE OF BIRTH IS 10-08-1981 30YEARS 8MONTHS 16DAYS AND I AM OBC CAN I GET ANY KIND OF GOVERNMENT JOB.

Yes friend you are eligible for the government job but apply as candidate belonging to OBC category and don't apply as Unreserved category.If you apply as Unreserved category then some times for you Age relaxation may not be considered.So it is better if you apply as a reserved category.Then surely you will be eligible for getting the job as there is Age relaxation for OBC candidates.

* Age relaxation is provided for the reserved categories.

* 5 years for the SC/ST categories.

* 3 years for OBC categories.

Hi,friend Age limit is for Government jobs are In ANdhra Pradesh its 18-34 years for OBC and SC and ST can avail up to five years age relaxation in ANdhra pradesh govt jobs .For Central Government jobs its 18-27years OBC can avail three years of relaxation and SC ST its five years for Physically Handicapped persons its 10 years . for Staff Selection Commission and Union Public Commission notifications .all the best my friend
