    Availability of vacancy and expected salary of IES officer?

    I want to write I.E.S exam... So plz tell me availability nd salary

    IES is the Indian Engineering service post which has been under the government of india.

    IES post you can get through the qualify the Civil service entrance exam which has been conducted by the UPSC department only for the four engineering graduate students are eligible llke:

    Mechanical engineer
    Electronics and communication engineer
    Electrical engineer
    Civil engineer etc

    Eligibility for the IES exam:

    Educational Qualification: bachelor degree in engineering from any recognized university.
    age limit: age must be between the 21 to 30 years.
    5years age relaxation for the Sc/ST.
    3 years age relaxation for the OBC.

    NAtioanlity: Indian citizen.

    selection process:
    paper 1: general ability test
    paper 2: objective paper 1 and objective paper 2
    paper 3: conventional paper 1 and conventional paper 2.

    IES post which you can get on the basis of the your performance in entrance exam and interview.

    IES exam has been held in month of june.
