yes, it is completely valid if you have done your BA degree from college or University which is recognized for BA distance education. you can apply for Bank exam while pursuing in final year also.

for Bank post you have to write IBPS/PO exam.

for IBPS/PO you need graduation in any discipline with 60% marks. and for SC/ST/PWD they need only 55% marks in graduation.

you should have also studied the Computer in your graduation or you have computer as a subject in school or college.

for IBPS your age must be within 20 years to 28 years. there is also applicable relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST aspirants.

    Good Luck.......

yes it is valid if this degree is from an government recognised university no matter it is distance or regular .you only have to satisfy the requirement of a particular job you want to go for. if they are of no use then why various universities sarted these courses???
so you can apply for any job matching your profile no matter it is distance learning or regular.

    Dear Aspirant,

Yes, Degree in Distance mode is valid for the job in Banking sector.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection recruits the personnel for the banking sector, so these are the educational qualification required by the IBPS:-

Educational Qualification for the Post of Bank Clerk:-
A complete graduate degree in any stream from any recognised university.

Educational Qualification for the post of Bank Probationary Officer:-
A complete Graduate degree in any stream from any recognised university with minimum 60% marks.

There is no mention that it should be regular. So, it means all the degree is valid either full time or distance mode.
So, you no need to worry about the distance mode degree. Apply for the Bank PO and Bank Clerk, Bank Officer in RRB.

    with all good wishes

If the University from which you have completed your degree is recognized by UGC and DEC then your degree is valid for any govt or private job.Not only Banks but other govt organizations or exams as SSC,UPSC,Railways etc also allow distance learning degrees for their exams but they should be govt approved i.e. UGC and DEC approved or recognized.
