    now i am doing distance degree by university of calicut can i write civil service after my distance degree

    You are fully eligible for applying for Indian Civil Service Exam if you have done your Graduation from Distance Learning.


    WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR INDIAN CIVIL SERVICE EXAM?
    - Candidates who have done their graduation degree in any stream. The degree should be learnt from a reputed university.
    - Distance learning, Private or Regular any degree is eligible.
    - Candidate's age should not less then 21 years and not more then 30 years.
    - Upper age limit relaxation is provided to sc/st of 5 years and bc of 3 years.

    ~SELECTION PROCESURE~
    * The selection procesure contains of 3 stages:
    i. Preliminary Exam(CSAT).
    ii. Mains Written Exam.
    iii. Personal Interview.

    Hello dude!

    You need not worry friend,as you have completed degree through distance education and even the calicut university is also a recognized university,so you are eligible for writing the civils exam.

    The Civil Services exams like IAS,IPS are conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

    The Eligibility details of the Civils Exam is as follows:
    • Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university.
    • Minimum 21 years of age.
    • The maximum age allowed is 30 years.
    • Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories.
    • 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
    • 3 years for OBC candidates.
    • Physical Requirements: MALE - HEIGHT-165 cm,If ST Category-160 cm.
      Female-155 cm,If ST Category-150 cm.
    • CHEST: MALE:84cm,Expansion-5 cm.
      FEMALE:79cm,Expansion-5 cm.
    • Good Eye Sight i.e; 6/6 or 6/9 vision.
    • Blood Pressure-
      Age 23-123,
      24-124,
      25-122,
      28-124,
      30-125,
      32-126,
      34,127
    The above mentioned are the eligibility details of the civils exam.
