    UPKAR'S RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARD EXAM
    ENGLISH GRAMMER BY WREN & MARTIN
    RS AGGARWAL(ARITHMATIC)
    RAILWAY OPERATIONS AND CONROL BOOKS
    MANAGING RAILROAD TRANSPORTATION BOOKS
    QUICKER REASONING TEST BY UPKAR PUBLICATION
    REASONING BY RS AGGARWAL I.E BOTH FOR VERBAL AND NON VERBAL.

    I think this much books are sufficient .Last thing want to tell you that refer the book which will be more easy for you from which you can easily understand the concepts.ATB

    The best preparation is Self study with proper and regular timing. Some of the books are.Pratiyogita Darpan, Upkar, Arihat, Lucent, wren & martin, Competition success review... For the current affairs it is very essential to read the national news papers daily like The Hindu, Dainik Bhaskar, Times of India etc...

    dear , you should have mentioned the railway exam/post for which you are appearing.
    Assistance would have been easier then.

    Anyways , any Railway exam whether technical or non-technical consists of multiple choice questions/sections mentioned below-

    1.general awareness

    2.aptitude

    3.general English

    4.reasoning

    5.and questions related to the post you are appearing the exam for.
