    Hello ASPIRANT

Thats Saurav signing in from Bhubaneswar. I can really understand your desperateness.See there is nothing to get much panic about. Please be patient as there is no official announcement of the exam or vacancies from the BSNL. It feels really good to see more number of aspirants like you showing interest in the Telecom sector. Well this JTO(Junior Telecom Officer) is the most prestigious and well paid job for an Engineering Graduate for the entry level position in the telecom industry.Since this is one of the wing of the central Govt.So you can expect better allowances and remuneration. In this job ,you can take home more than just a mere salary( do not misinterpret this as black money.I am talking about alowances). The perks and emoluments tagged with this job is really mouth watering. Hence making this a very lucrative job overall.

Anyways lets come to the topic. The vacancies for the post of JTO are generally published in the "Employment News", which is a weekly published Newspaper. However the notification can also be made available from any job portal websites like fresherworld.com or sarkarinaukari.com.But for this you really have to be very much watchful. Otherwise sometimes this important notification may come and go in no time.So make a habit of surfing those job portals regularly.

For registration you may have to go to the BSNL own website. There has been a lot of issues regarding the vacancy in BSNL.The vacancies are not frequent or regular. You may have to wait for years together to be able to apply for the JTO posts. The hiring for the post of JTO is not done on a yearly basis which is normally done by other PSUs.The recent news from the sources reveals that BSNL is going to officially declare the number of vacancies and registration process in the coming month or two. This is indeed a very good news for the aspirants.Hopefully we will get to see opening in the Telecom industry finally after 2 years. Now I would be providing you certain important aspects regarding Eligibility criteria and question pattern for this exam.

    BSNL-India-.jpg

    Eligibility:

-> A degree in Engineering (Electrical,Electronics,Civil) from a recognized university with 60 percentile marks.
-> Should be minimum 21 years of age as on the specified date and should not be more than 30 years on that specified date.
-> Final year candidate expecting their provisional certificates on a specified date can still apply.

    Question Pattern:

    Section 2 - Engineering (Electrical,Electronics,Civil) -50 questions
    Section 3 - General Ability Test - 20 questions

For books you can follow below mentioned book

    BSNL_JTO_2012.jpg

Hope my information would definitely help you in redefining and reshaping a better career.Anyways Best of luck for a bright and shining future.
