Re: Can a graduate apply for the Central police forces examinations conducted by the UPSC?

Yes, certainly a graduate can apply for the Central Police Forces exam which is mainly conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. But the graduation should be taken from a good and reputed university which is recognized by the government of India. Only the Indian Citizen candidates can apply to this exam.

The candidates should be physically fit for applying to this exam. The candidates need to attend the physical fitness test which is conducted as part of the recruitment process which is conducted. The candidates who have NCC certificates will have an additional advantage while applying to this examination. The candidates who are both male and female candidates can apply. There is no restriction on the gender for attending this examination.

The candidates who crack the written examination and the medical fitness test will be short listed for the next process of recruitment which will be mainly the Personal interview. The candidate’s performance in the final interview will be the basis of recruitment of the candidates. Regarding the age limits of the candidate for applying to this exam is between the ages of 20-25. This is the age limit for the general categories. Those who fall in the reserved categories are allowed relaxations in case of their ages to mainly to SC/ST/OBC and other categories.
