    HI Divya.

There is no problem at all to get a government job begin a married person.

Your martial status wouldn't create a problem in getting a government job.

Only some of the government jobs like Defense services look for Unmarried candidates.

You can apply for banking jobs like Bank PO exam if you have completed your Graduation and clerical exam also.

There a various state government jobs and vacancies available time to time you just need check out those in the employment news and apply for the same.

    All the best.

    Thanks & regards.

    Dear Aspirant,

Yes, as per your age you are eligible to apply in govt sector job.
The minimum age limit to apply in govt sector job is 18 year and maximum is (23 year for police line), 27, 28 or 30 for Banking sector and other govt sector.

5 Year and 3 Year relaxation in maximum age limit for SC/ST and OBC category candidates respectively.

You need to prepare your self to crack the examination.

    with all good wishes.......

    Hello Divya

Well yours case is really complicated one.I guess there may be a problem when you would be facing your interview. You better find an answer for this probable question in your interview or else it may send a wrong message to the H.R.

Marriageable age (or marriage age) is the age at which a person is allowed to marry, either as of right or subject to parental or other forms of consent. The age and other requirements vary between countries, but generally it is set at 18 ( for females), although most jurisdictions allow marriage at slightly younger ages with parental and/or judicial approval, or in case of pregnancy. The marriage age should not be confused with the age of majority or the age of consent, or the actual age at first marriage in a particular society.

So it seems you have got married at the age of 16.Which means you have not obeyed the law and jurisdiction of the country.Hence you are answerable to this serious topic in any interview you face whether govt sector or a non-govt or a private sector organization.

I can understand your feelings. But it would be better if you consult an advocate and get a proper solution from the advocate. As far as Govt exams are concerned you may still be allowed to appear most of the exams but after cracking the written exam the real trouble will start. So find out the solution for problem as early as possible.Anyways best of luck for a bright and healthy future.

    Regards Saurav
