    No Friend,
    That is not possible.

The age limitation of the NDA exam is 16.5-19 years during the starting date of the batch you applied for.

The age of the candidates should be calculated according to the date when the batch will start.

It almost takes 1 year to complete the entire selection procedure to complete and by then you will be of 20 years old thus not eligible to apply.

There is no age relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates.

It will be better if you complete your graduation degree and apply for the CDS exam.

    For more details check http://www.upsc.gov.in

Re: Can I appear for NDA Exams after completing 19 years by 11th of May?

    • No, you are not eligibile to apply for the National defence academy (NDA) examination once you have attained the age of 19 years.
    • The age limit prescribed for this examination is 16.5 years to 19 years at the time of joining.
    • The selection process takes nearly one year, so the age limit applies is 15.5 years to 18 years.
    • And there is no provision for age relaxation to any category.
    • Only male and unmarried students can apply for it.
    • Now you can apply for the combined defence services (CDS) examination once you complete the graduation.

Re: Can I appear for NDA Exams after completing 19 years by 11th of May?

You will not be eligible for NDA at that age.
The maximum age allowed for NDA is 19 years at the time of commencement of course at NDA i.e. after joining.
You will be 19 in May 2014 itself whereas the NDA I exam is conducted somewhere around April. When the exam is conducted in April, the final joining will be around December around till then you will already be 6-7 months over 19.
Enroll for graduation without wasting time and try for defence sector from final year of graduation through CDS, AFCAT etc or else if you delay your age will again be problem after Graduation also.

    Hello

The age limit for NDA is 16.5 years to 19 years.
At the time of commencement of the course, not at the time of applying.

The fact is that NDA have three stage selection process and as it is required that you must apply 1 year before the time of commencement of course.
One must apply between 15.5 years to 18 years.

As your age is 19 years, you can not apply for NDA.
