    Hello

You first understand the meaning of both UGC and AICTE.You must have know the fact that whatever study we do is basically controlled by some body or organization, like when we gave 10 then our school was affiliated to a secondary board,in 10+2 our school was affiliated to higher secondary board which means that our 10,12 certificates are valid only if our schools are affiliated to any board, which proves that our degree and certificates are valid. In the same way university, colleges also require affiliatation.

1)UGC-stands for university grant commission,as the name suggests it grants permission to the university and is controlled by the central government of INDIA ,a university again provides affiliation to colleges as a college is always under a university, and the college have to follow the curriculum that is designed by the university.

2)AICTE-stands for all India council for technical education, now the name has technical written in it,that means that a college which has any course related to technical study needs the approval of AICTE,the education are BCA,B.TECH,MBA.MCA etc.a university is a body which is bigger than a college and in a university there are many all subjects both technical and non technical,so the question of approval from AICTE do not exits at all.

SO A COLLEGE NEEDS THE APPROVAL OF AICTE FOR CONDUCTING TECHNICAL EDUCATION IN ITS CAMPUS,SINCE A COLLEGE CAN CONDUCT EITHER TECHNICAL,NON TECHNICAL OR BOTH EDUCATION,BUT A UNIVERSITY MOSTLY COMPRISES ALL OF THEM SO A UNIVERSITY DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY APPROVAL FROM AICTE,BUT CERTAINLY NEEDS APPROVAL FROM UGC.

SO YOU CAN DO YOUR M.TECH IN CMJ UNIVERSITY WITHOUT ANY DOUBT.

AICTE - All India Council For Technical Education
    UGC - University Grant Commision
A College AICTE Approval , Its Mandatory So U Better Do Ur M-TECH In The University That U Like, But Check For It ( AICTE)

    Hello dude!

You must have mentioned the college or university that you had studied,so that i would have told you about the recognition details of that particular university.Anyways put that stuff aside, you better check where your university/college is recognized by the university grants commission. If it is recognized by the university grants commission then surely your degree is valid.

I also want to make you clear that universities need not be recognized by Aicte only the colleges affiliated to the universities must be recognized by aicte.

HOPE THE INFORMATION HELPED YOU AND ALL THE BEST.
