Re: Can I get a government job after scoring 174 marks in KPSC exam?

    Hello

IN Karnataka public service commission section of candidates for the required posts purly based on the written test and a personnel inetrview. The written test consists of priliminary (objective type )and mains(descriptive type).
The selection for main exam is through the score of prliminary exam of candidate. So the cutt off marks based on the score. But usually 1:51 will be called to write mains exam,So the final section for inetrview will be the candidates who have cleared all mains papers(descriptive type). That is the procedure to select the candidates through KPSc.and preliminary marks are not considerable in selecting a candidate.

In Karnatka Public Service Commission the written test involves Priliminary which is objective type paper and the second one is mains which is descriptive type paper. The selection for main exam is based on the performance in the Prliminary exam . So the selection to call the candidates for inetrview will be based on the mains papers(descriptive type). Therefore, the Preliminary exam. marks are not considered for final selection.
