    The candidates need to attend the NET exam only if they are interested in getting in to the academic areas. Upon qualifying in the NET exam which is conducted by the UGC, the candidates can get in to the lecture positions in various government colleges or universities. Apart from this, the candidates can try out for many jobs in various government departments.

    The candidates can try out for the various competitive examinations which are held for the recruitment of the candidates in various government departments. These competitive examinations are mainly conducted by the Union Public service Commission and Staff service Commission. The candidates who are attending these examinations can get employed in the following departments in government such as –

    • Railways
    • Defence Sector
    • Research Laboratories
    • Civil Services
    • Central Excise and Customs
    • CBI etc.

    The eligibility criteria’s with respect to the ages may differ for different jobs. The candidates can get all the information’s regarding the positions which are vacant from the notifications which are published in official sites and other employment dailies. The candidates can also attend the bank examinations for various posts such as Probationary Officers, clerk etc. The basis of selection will be through the written examinations which will be conducted.
