    On which date can i attend Bank PO's exam as my DOB of 11/02/1981 and belongs to OBC category?

    My DOB 11-02-1981 Caste O-Bc upto which date can i attend bank po's exam

    Hi dear..........
    The Required age limit for appearing Bank po exam is from 21 - 30 yrs , for general category
    but there is relaxation for obc catagery
    it is three year for OBC category

    Hello dude!

    The Institute of Banking and Personal Selection conducts the probationary officer exam. The candidates need to write a written test and the selected candidates will be asked to attend an interview and they will get an opportunity to get a job in the 19 nationalized banks throughout India.
    Other than IBPS, you can also apply for private banks like Axis bank, State bank of india, Union bank etc.

    EXAM PATTERN: The exam pattern consists of an objective test and a descriptive test.In the objective test there will 5 sections.All the 5 sections except English will be for 50 marks with 50 question.The English section is for 25 marks only.Coming to the descriptive test,the paper is based on Letter writing,Essay writing etc.This section is for 25 marks.

    ELIGIBILITY DETAILS:
    The eligibility details for the p.o exam is mentioned below:
    • Candidate must be citizen of India.
    • Must have completed graduation from any recognized university.
    • Minimum age allowed is 21 years and applicable for all categories.
    • The maximum age is 30 years.
    • The candidates belonging to SC/ST category will get 5 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to OBC category will get 3 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to Physically handicapped category will get 10 years upper age relaxable.
    • The candidates belonging to Ex-service men category will get 5 years upper age relaxable.
    These are the details of the exam.

    Coming to the syllabus,there are 5 sections.Each section consists of 50 questions.They are:
    1.Numerical ability.
    2.English.
    3.Basics of Computers.
    4.Aptitude.
    5.General awareness.

    Getting selected in the interview will make you eligible for the below mentioned nationalized banks.They are:
    Allahabad bank,
    Andhra bank,
    Bank of Baroda,
    Bank of India,
    Bank of Maharashtra,
    Canara bank,
    Central bank,
    Corporation bank,
    Dena bank,
    Indian bank,
    Indian overseas bank,
    Oriental bank,
    Punjab National bank, Punjab and Sind bank,
    Union bank,
    UCO bank,
    Vijaya bank,
    Syndicate bank.

    As you belong to OBC category you can write the exam upto 33 years because the candidates belonging to OBC category will get upper age relaxation upto 3 years. So according to the above mentioned date of birth your age is 32 years.So you can apply for the exams upto 2014 only, later you are not eligible for the exam.
