IBPS specialist officer syllabus 2012 for written exam:

IBPS released the syllabus for IBPS specialist officer recruitment exam 2012.
IBPS specialist officer question papers will be in 2 languages that of English and Hindi, except only one section of test of English language.
you know that the IBPS specialist officer exam will be conducted on 11th march 2012.
The written exam has 4 section for 200marks.
There are negative marks for the wrong answers.
0.25 marks will be reduced for every wrong option for your final score.

Syllabus:-
Test of reasoning - 50marks(50 questions)
Test of English language-25 marks (50 questions)
Test of Quantitative Aptitude- 50 marks(50 questions)
Test of Professional language- 75 marks (50 questions).

Total written exam time:-120 min(2 hours).

eligibility:: the canidadate must have graduation from recognixzed university.

the complete syllabus::
The total marks of the paper is 200marks and question paper will be for 200 questions.
the syllabus is
Reasoning is for 50marks.
English is for 25 marks

General awareness is for 75 marks

professional knowledge i.e subject related is for 75 marks.

for preparation

hi hi i have completed BE in electronics and communication and have one year experience in the telecom industry as a network engineer. This means i am eligible to apply for the IT officer Scale 1 as well as Scale 2 in the upcoming ibps specialist exam. can you suggest as to which would be a better option keeping the number of seats and ease of getting through the exam in mind.
