Re: Details of BSNL JTO exam?

The Educational Qualification criteria in earlier pattern for Bank Clerk Grade examinations were also differed from Bank to Bank.
For example State Bank of India wanted only candidates with minimum qualification of 10+2/Intermediate and higher.
And for some Gramin Banks it was only Matriculation/10th Class with 60% minimum and so on.

Since the whole pattern is changed now (except for SBI & its sister banks) due to introduction of a new system called
IBPS-Institute of Banking Personnel Selection CWE-Common Written Exam (i.e. IBPS CWE) of conducting tests for
    19-Nationalised Banks’ various Officer/Clerical posts.

As per the present IBPS CWE, it only Matriculation/10th Class with 60% Marks as Minimum Educational Qualification for
applying for Clerical Cadre posts in those 19 Banks and the age of the applicant should be between 18 Yrs to 28 Yrs
(Age relaxations SC/ST-5 Yrs and OBC-3 Yrs etc applicable).

    Thanks

Re: Details of BSNL JTO exam?

Exam pattern of BSNL JTO exam:
Selection process of BSNL JTO exam consists of a written exam on all-India basis. There are 3 sections in the written test, to be answered in 3 hours without any gap in between the individual sections.

BSNL JTO exam questions are of multiple choice objective type questions, the standards of which are those of Engineering Examinations of an Indian University. Syllabus for the three JTO vacancies i.e. JTO (Civil), JTO (Electrical), JTO (Telecom) can be found from this previous blog post.

Of the 3 sections of the BSNL JTO written test, first two sections contain questions of the individual Engineering stream, with 50 questions in each section. While the third section contains General Ability questions from general English, current affairs, events and developments in Tele Communications, History of India and Geography.

Thus 120 questions of say JTO (Civil) would have following exam pattern:
Section - I: Civil Engineering Stream :50 questions
Section - II: Civil Engineering Stream :50 questions
Section - III: General Ability Test :20 questions
Same exam pattern follows for JTO (Electrical) & JTO (Telecom) also.
