    Details regarding NIC Exam Pattern and How to apply for it ?

    please tell me some detail about NIC Exam and what pattern they follow and how to apply for it.

    hi dear

    NIC(National Informatics Centre) exam is basically links to information .
    ELIGIBILTY:- the candidate should have bachelors degree in engineering in computer science or computer related subjects. the candidate have masters degree in computer applications or master in science with specializations in computer science, physics, statistics, operation research or mathematics or with either PG Diploma in computer science from recognised institution are also eligible with atleast 60% aggregate (in case a person has both degree and and a post graduate degree there should be 60 % in both ).
    if a person doesnot have a post graduate diploma then he/she should have minimum 3 years experience in the field of computer application.
    and there are also certain posts for B.SC in physics, economics, mathematics, statistics and operation reseach with specialization in computer applications (60% aggregate too) B.SC posseses a post graduate diploma in computer science or applications but with 1 year experience in programming field are also invited.
    AGE LIMIT:- Age limit is 18 to 30 years and any relaxation depends on government rules or criteria.
    PROCEDURE:- the application forms are available on NIC website and newspaper where NIC is advertised. the candidate must opt for a exam centre must declare and will not be changed further once declared by the institution i.e. no changes once the centre has alloted.

    Scientific Officer / Engineer-SB (Programmer)” at New Delhi. Candidate with BE, BTech, MCA, MSc degree can apply for this post. Candidate have to go through written test. Last date of online submission of application is 5 Aug 2011.

    62 posts (UR-31, SC-6, ST-9, OBC-16)
    Pay Scale :
    Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay 4600
    Age Limit :
    18-30 years
    Qualification:

    Hi,
    As per the latest status the last date for submission of application form was 5th Aug i.e finished. so try for the next schedule where you get the information reg next batch of requirement in http://recruitment.nic.in/.also u will get the application there
    Qualifications:
    B.E./B.Tech/MCA with first class or minimum 60% marks in agg or equivalent/and specialization in Computer Science/Computer related areas;
    or
    M.Sc in Computer Science with first class or at least 60% marks or equivalent;
    or
    Master’s degree in Physics/Maths/Statistics/Operation Research with either PG Diploma in Computer Science from a Govt. recognized institution/University
    or at least three years of experience in the areas indicated under Job Description is
    essential. The Master’s degree and Post Graduate Diploma should be with minimum
    60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
    AGE LIMIT: 18-30 years as on last date of receipt of applications. The age relaxation will be as per Government of India instructions/rules.

    in NIC exam there r 2 section.in 1st section therere 3 parts 1 for fill in the blanks 2 for true false and 3 rd for one word in 2nd section there are 6 -7 question are asked in which we hav to solved only 5 qstns and in all qstn there are 2 -3 or 4 parts are there and whole paper is based on c, c++, .net ,Softwareengineering , java java script all section are based on this.

    NIC(National Informatics Centre)

    Eligibility for the examination ::

    If you want to apply for the examination then you should be less then 30 years and more then 18 years

    Interested candidates must have completed BTECH /MCA with minimum 60% marks OR MSC in computer science with at least 60% marks OR Minimum 60% marks in master degree like ::

    Physics
    statistics
    Maths

    Pattern of the NIC examination ::



    Procedure to apply for the exam::Application form can be downloaded from the official website whenever available.Till now there is no notification is available related to the NIC examination .

    Qualification Requirements for NIC(National Informatics Centre) Exam :::


    You must have graduate in Engineering of Computer or, related field.
    Master degree with Computer stream also can apply for it.


    Age Criteria ::


    Your age must lies in between 18-30 yr.

    NIC recruits yearly for the post of scientist /developer

    Its a central govt job and posting can be anywhere in india.

    Pattern of exam : Written test followed by personal interview

    Writen test will be Objective as well as descriptive question covering the following topics computer networking,Computer hardware ,C programming, Compiler design ,Database.

    PErsonal interview : Will be questions on your experience in IT ,Technologies ,Your Knowledge on software cycle model, Willingnes s to work anywhere in india

    Clearing the Written test is the important thing
