the notification for punjab police recruitment 2012 has not been decleared yet and currently their is not any official notice about notification.
but the notification for punjab police recruitment will be published on the official website when decleared. if you are interested in the above
post than you should meet some eligibility criterias given below-

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED-
THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE PASSED +2 OR EQUIVALENT FROM RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY CAN APPLY FOR THE EXAMINATION.

AGE LIMIT-
THE CANDIDATES AGE SHOULD BE BETWEEN 18-25 YEARS AS ON SPECIFIED DATE.

HOW TO APPLY-
THE INTERESTED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM FROM www.punjabpolice.in and will have send the
completely filled in application form with required application fee in the form of DD and all the necessary documents to the mentioned

Punjab Police Recruitment will occur in 2012

Police Recruitment for the mele & female candidates is available for the post of constable in Punjab.
There are 25% seats are reserved for SC/ST
13% seats are reserved for the wards of Ex-servicemen
12% are reserved for backward classes
1% is reserved for the wards of freedom fighter.

Out of these Total vacancies are: 5726
For male candiates: 3726
For Female candidates: 2000

Age limit: 18-25 years

Educational Qualification:

Passed 10+2 or equivalent

pay scale: 5910-20200+grade pay2000

Selection Procedure:

for male candidates selection is made by District Recruitment Board
For female candidates selection is made by the Central Recruitment board
