    Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP_TET/State_TET)





    Eligibility Criteria



    The candidate at the time of applying for APTET-January 2012 should be having the minimum
    Qualifications prescribed for a teacher for category I to V classes and VI to VIII classes as given below.




    Paper-I : I to V classes
    Paper-II: VI to VIII classes



    Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V


    Intermediate / Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education

    or,

    Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pass in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education

    or,

    Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pass in 2 - year Diploma in Education


    Note: Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at Intermediate / Senior Secondary level for SC/ST Candidates.


    Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII


    B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com and pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education

    or,

    B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks and passes in 1 - year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

    Or,

    B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com with at least 50% marks and pass in 1 - year B.Ed.

    or,

    Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pass in 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education

    or,

    Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pass in 4-year B.Sc., B.Ed

    Every state conducts their own TET exam.

    Well TET is Teacher Eligibility Test.

    - This is for third grade teacher eligibility.

    - Just guess you eant to apply for rajasthan tet.

    - then you have any graduation diploma or degree with minimum 50%.


    - You should have 50% or more in 12th if diploma and graduation if have B.ed.

    - then you are eligible to apply for that exam.

    - You have to score minimum 60% marks in tet exam.

    - then you will become qualify.

    - After passing you will given certificate valid for 7 years.

    Hi Friend,

    TET:Teachers Eligiblity Test is conducted by TRB to select qualified candidates as a teachers of future Generation.

    Who Need this /Eligibility of TET:
    1)Candidates Who have completed their Diploma in Teacher Education,After their Higher Secondary

    2)Candidates Who have completed their Bachelor degree in Teacher Education after their Bachelor degree in any discipline from the Recognised University

    3)Candidates Who are in DTED and B.Ed,appearing for their final year exams also can apply

    4)Teachers who are working in Government and Goverment Aided Schools,have been Appointed on or before Aug 23,2010.

    Important Dates:
    1)Last Date of Application is April 4th
    2)Date of Written Exam 3/6/12

    TET will be of two Papers,Paper 1 is for candidates who are willing to take the classes for 1st to 5th
    Paper 2 will be for the classes 6th to 8th

    Both Paper contains 150 multiple Choice Questions and of 150 marks,And The duration of the Test is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

    Hi,

    TET(Teachers Eligibility Test) is a common entrance test examination for school teachers. According to government of India norms to recruit School Teachers having a B.Ed degree will not be enough. Now for this recruitment all the interested candidates have to face TET.

    The candidates securing minimum 60% marks in this exam will be considered for the recruitment on teaching assignments. The test is mandatory for each aspirator, who wants to do the job in teaching. The guidelines about TET provides a good option to the interested person, who has desired to work in teaching assignments. Now it is expected that all the states, including private’s sector schools also follow the guidelines to recruit the school teachers.

    >>Eligibility Criteria:


    1. For class I - V

    Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 yrs. diploma in elementary education
    Or
    Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4 yrs. diploma in elementary education (B.EI.Ed)


    2.For class VI – VIII

    B.A. / B.Sc. and passed or appearing in final 2 yrs. diploma in elementary education.
