BHEL is one of the most reputed public sector undertaking in the country. HEL conducts the written examinations as part of the recruitment procedure for various positions. The candidates needs to fulfill the following criteria’s to enter in to BHEL for a job –
    • The candidates must be engineering graduates in any specialization streams. The candidates must have secured the graduation from a recognized university or college.
    • The candidates who have done their Diploma in engineering will also be considered.
    • The final year engineering candidates are also eligible to apply.
    • The candidates should not be above 27 years of age. There is relaxation in case of the age limits for the reserve categories.

Regarding the required minimum percentage of marks, it is around 65%. Those who clear the written test, have to attend the personal interview. Hence, you need to prepare thoroughly for the interview. The final selection will be based on the performance in the interview and also on the criteria that the candidate fulfills or meets all the important criteria’s which are specified.

BHEL often carry out examinations for the recruitment of engineering graduates. They are initially appointed in the role of trainees. The selection process usually comprises of a written test and an interview. ECE graduates can find jobs in the technical section of BHEL. These job positions are much lucrative also. The details on the selection process will be issued in the official website of BHEL and in leading news dailies. Hai friend,,
It will be considered as 65% only .. BHEL conducted written examination on the basis of Reasoning type questions and related to communication skills.

The paper pattern for BHEL entrance exams are -

BHEL Diploma Holder Trainee in Electrical (EEE) / Electronics (ECE) / Mechanical / Civil Branch.
Important / Helpful / Useful Books for BHEL ET / ST.
There are 240 questions in the paper and out of 240 120 are Technical and other 120 are Aptitude & General English questions.

Age limit criteria :- Age limit criteria for the post of Engineer trainee and supervisor trainee is 27 years for graduates .

Selection procedure on the basis of following categories :-

    i) Written examination
    ii) Interview

There is a negative marking of 1/5th mark for each wrong answer. Five options are given for each question of which only one is correct and you should complete the paper within 150 minutes.
