    Dear Aspirant,

Banking sector jobs are the secured jobs next to the Government sector in terms of Job security and Time management but cracking the banking sector exam is very much tougher then Govt. sector.
The recruitment for the posts in Banking sector is done by the IBPS / SBI and other Co-Operative banks. IBPS is nothing but Indian Banking Personnel Selection is an authority to recruit candidates for almost 19 public sector banks. However the recruitment for the banks in SBI and Co-Operative banks is done by the respective banks.

As cited above that you would like to apply for the Clerical Assistant post in Banking sector on base of Intermediate qualification and want to know about the eligibility criteria requires for applying to the Clerical Assistant Posts in Banking sector. Then for your information on base of SSLC / Intermdiate qualification you may be eligible for applying to the Clerical Assistant post in Banking sector.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the posts in Banking sector is as follows :-

    a) Must be a Citizen of India
    b) Age limit should be in between 18 to 28 years. (Relaxation of three years is applicable to OBC and five years to SC/ST /Ex-servicemen).
    c) Educational qualification :- Must has passed SSLC / Intermediate with a minimum of 60% aggregate or just pass graduation in any discipline. (55% aggregate in SSLC / Intermediate is applicable for SC/ST candidates).

The syllabus pattern followed by the banking sector authorities for the Clerical Assistant posts is as follows :-

General Awareness (With special reference to the Banking sector)
    General English
    Numerical Aptitude
    Logical Reasoning
    Marketing aptitude

A candidate has to pass in each topic listed above for getting eligible for cutoff. For passing in each topic Time management is very important because in just 2 hours you have to solve 200 questions so for becoming perfect in this you have to solve previous year question papers.
