    You have wanted to know about the exact age limit of the IBPS(Institute of Banking personnel Selection) Exam. I will discuss in details about the the eligibility criteria. The exam which is conducted Common written Exam for the recruitment of Bank PO/ Management Trainee, Clerical Cadre & Specialist Officer for around 29 Nationalized Bank all over the India is the IBPS Exam.The Eligibility requirement is:

    i)Educational Qualification:

    a)For Bank Probationary Officer ,the candidate must at least complete his Graduation from a recognized college/ University with a minimum marks of 60% which is 55% for the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PC candidates.
    b)For Specialist Officer(Scale I) the criteria is same.
    c)For Specialist Officer(Scale II) the criteria is same except that the candidate must have a work experience of 1 years.
    d)For clerical cadre, the candidate must complete 12th standard.

    ii)Age Criteria:

    a)For Bank Probationary Officer, Age criteria is that the age of the candidate must be within 21-30 years. However, the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PC candidates receives a relaxation from 3-5 years depending upon the policies of the board.
    b)For Specialist Officer(Scale I), Age criteria is that the age of the candidate must be within 21-35 years. However, the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PC candidates receives a relaxation from 3-5 years depending upon the policies of the board.

    IBPS till date has not brought any notification regarding CWE-2012 for clerical cadre:-
    QUALIFICATION FOR IBPS CLERK-
    10th passed with 60% marks (pass for SC/ST candidates)
    OR
    12th with 55% marks (Pass for CS/ST candidates)
    OR
    Any graduation from recognised university.

    AGE LIMIT-
    General:: 18-28 years
    SC/ST:: 18-33 years

    IBPS conducts CWE(Common Written Examination) for posts of PO's/MT's, clerks an Specialist Officers in 19 mationalized public sector banks.

    To appear in the CWE, IBPS has defined certain educational and age eligibility criteria:

    Educational criteria:-
    For PO's/MT's -- A graduation Degree in any discipline from recognized University with 65% marks in aggregate along with 60% marks in aggregate in XIIth.
    For Specialist Officers-- A post graduation degree i.e MBA.MCA,Engineering with 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
    For clerks:- Xth pass with 50% marks in aggregate.

    Age criteria:-
    For PO/MT/clerical post, the age limit is 18 to 28 years with age relaxations for reserved category as per government rules.
    OBC - Upper age limit is relaxed by 03 years

    The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has the responsibility to conduct exam for the job in 19 Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) banks in India. This exam is called Common Written Examination (CWE). Today IBPS is more than 40 years odl organization. It has over 2000 venues in more than 200 cities across India where lakhs of students can appear in Banking exams.

    There are basically two types of IBPS exams.

    1. IBPS CLERK EXAM

    2. IBPS PO EXAM


    Eligibility for IBPS Clerk Exam:-

    Qualification

    Candidates who passed Class 12th board from a recognised board with 60 percent marks pay also appear.

    Those who belong to Sc/ST/OBC can appear in the Clerk Exam if they have secured 55 percent marks in 10+2.

    Age:

    The age limit for IBPS Clerk Exam is 21 to 28 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit for the reserve category candidates as per the rules of government of India.


    Eligibility for IBPS PO Exam.

    The PO exam is conducted for the posts of Probationary Officer / Management Trainee in the Public Sector Undertaking Banks.

    CLERICAL POSTS
    The Institute of Banking and Personal Selection released its notification for the clerical exam and the last date for applying is November 5th.

    EXAM PATTERN: The exam pattern is also changed and previous there used to 50 questions in each section and total of 5 sections but now the exam is conducted online and there will be 5 sections and each section consists of 40 questions only.For every corect answer one mark will be awarded and for every wrong answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.

    SPECIALIST OFFICER POSTS
    Ibps conducts common written examination for the recruitment of specialist officers in various cadres like IT,Technical,Agriculture,Legal,Marketing,HR etc. And also in Rashtrabhasha in the 19 public sector banks.The exam is conducted twice a year by the Ibps.The eligibility details of the exam is as follows:
    1.Must be a citizen of India.
    2.The Minimum and maximum age limits for various specializations is:
    * For IT officer(scale-I)-Minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
    * Agricultural field officer
    (scale-I)-Minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
    * For RajBhasha Adhikari(scale-I)-Minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
    * For Law officer(scale-I)-Minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
    * For technical officer(scale-I)-Minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
    * For HR Officer(scale-I)-Minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
    * For Marketing officer(scale-I)-Minimum 20 years and maximum 35 years.
    * For IT officer(scale-II)-Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years.
    * * For Law officer(scale-II)-Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years.

    * Scheduled castes and scheduled tribes-5 years.
    * Other backward classes-3 years.
    * Persons with disability-10 years.
    * Ex-service men-5 years.
    * Employees of any participating bank-5 years.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    * For IT officer(Scale I & II) - Any degree from a recognized university having passed DOEACC 'B' Level.

    * For Agricultural Field officer-Degree in agriculture or allied specializations from a recognized university.

    * For Rajbhasha Adhikhari-A PG degree in hindi with English as a subject at the degree level.

    * For Law officer- A bachelor degree in LAW(LLB)

    * For Technical officer-Degree in Engineering.

    * For HR/Personnal officer-Any degree from a recognized university or a PG degree.

    * For Marketing officer: MBA in marketing or 2

    Dear Friend,

    The new eligibility criteria for IBPS clerk common written exam 2013

    .You must have a degree

    .Until now,even+2 pass candidates were allowed to sit for bank exams.

    .However,starting this year,the criteria has been change.

    .For IBPS clerk CWE 2013,you must have a valid degree from a recognized university.

    .You must have computer skills

    .Age limit :The lower age limit for IBPS clerk exam 2013 is 20 years,while the upper age limit is 28 years.

    .This remain unchanged over the previous year

    From 2013 the age criteria for ibps has been changed..
    the revised Age criteria for IBPS Clerk as well as OFFicer is;;;

    min 20 year,,
    and max 28 year(this age limit is for general candidates)

    Dear Friend ,THe age criteria for ibps clerk and officer is changed......
    From 2013 onwards,

    upper age is 28 years

    lower age is 20 years
