Eligibility for government engineering colleges in A.P through EAMCET? What should be the rank for this purpose?

    Sir,
My daughter studied for two years only ( i.e. 11th and 12th std.) from an institution in Andhra Pradesh after her ICSE in an institution from West Bengal and appeared at the Andhra Pradesh Board Exam this year. She scored 90.3% in the IPE. She is also appearing at the EAMCET, 2011. Is she eligible for a Govt. Engineering College in A.P. in case she comes out successful in the rank. What should be the rank for the purpose ?

    Yours faithfully,

    Hi Guest,

You need to be in a rank of below 1000 state rank in order to be eligible for government engineering colleges in A.P.

The exam is going to be easy the competition is huge as lots of candidates apply for the exam.

So if you have a good rank then you can get a college in government for sure.

    Thank you,

    All the best.
