Re: Eligibility requirement for TET exam

    heloo friend,

TET is "Teacher Eligibility Test" and it is considered as the best entrance exam for those who want to work as a teacher in government sector.

Teaching is the noblest of all jobs and the job of a teacher is the most respected job because teachers have the responsibility to shape the future of young generation, motivate them and guide them in the right way to achieve their goals in life.

National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) a statutory body of govt of India has now initiated new rules for recruitment of High school level teachers.

Now NCTE has initiated a new criteria for teachers which is called TET. Everyone aspiring to be a teacher in lower high school level(especially) should pass Teacher Eligibilty Test(TET).

As this exam is conduced by the state, the test is also called State-level teacher Eligibility Test(STET). It is a competitive exam.

Also, as each entrance exam have some eligibility conditions which you must have to appear for appearing for the exam and hence for TET too, there are some eligibility conditions present which may help you to sit in the TET exam and they are considered as the important eligibility conditions as....

    --Educational qualification

    --Age limit

    ~~Eligibility Criteria .....

For TET exam, there is somewhat different kind of eligibility conditions than any other entrance exam as for this....

--B.Ed is a must to appear in the TET or STET.

--B.Ed will be decided by the State Govt/Union Territory govt or Central Govt organization. The certificate cannot be more than 7 years old or we can say that you are eligible till you have not complete 7 years after B.ED, after that, you are not eligible for TET.

HENCE,we conclude that you have just 7 years of time when you may appear for the exam but after that your eligibility does not satisfies the TET exam eligibility and thus, you becomes uneligible.

~~Exam pattern of TET exam ....

--Paper I -- if you want to become teachers for classes I-V.

--Paper II -- if you want to teach students of VI to VIII.

--Paper I and II -- if you are aspiring to teach classes from I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers I and II.

    ~~Previous year CTET papers as.....
