Which field should I choose after BSc Computer Science to get a government job?

I'm sowmiya.I am doing my B.Sc.Computer Science 3rd year.After my studies, I would like to join in government job. So in what field i have to chose in government job.

Hi, Sowmiya..Since u are doing BSc Computer Science you can do ur Post Graduation in Computer itself, U have an option of doing MCA, MSW, MBA,MS in Engineering- Computer , Information Technology, electronics ,telecomunication..., Any one these help u in getting into Govt Job.. All the best for your Final Exams.

u should join MCA ,otherwise after doing PGDCA also u can go for central school teacher

I think you should do a master degree in M.Sc IT or MSC so that more scopes open for you.

As you are doing B.Sc with Computer Science right now,According to me you should join MCA or M.Sc IT after passing the Enterance exam for that.It will be more helpful for your career.

dear sowmiya,
you ca apply for a job like single window operator, clerk or junior programmer. But you must do a msc/mca.so that you can get a higher position in govt field than a graduate in CS.

you want to get govt job as you have completed BSC Computer Science,my sugestion is you do MCA OR MSC IT.after you apply for any university lecturer jobs (teaching posts)
nonteaching posts as well

after bsc in computer science there are so many opportunity to get job. you will get job in IT field. also you are eligible for software field, operating field etc. also you may join as a game designer in a very good gaming company. opportunity is there you must find out the best suitable one for you. best of luck.
B.Sc. in computer science graduates begin their career as junior programmers and grow at a very fast pace to become Systems analysts and project leaders etc. Since the course is also designed towards the research side, students prefer to go for higher studies. Others seek entrepreneurial role's like consultants etc.
I think u should go for further studies ...like MBA or MCA after which u can get highly paid jobs in reputed companies like mahindra, aditya birla , icici,tcs...

Hello mam .......... Since u are doing BSc Computer Science you can do ur Post Graduation in Computer also. U have an option of doing MCA, MBA ,MSC in Information Technology, Any one these help u in getting into Govt Job.The main point is you can apply for the bank po ,clerk, single window clerk post, and also try in ldc post in govt sector which is very benifitial for u.so apply and get a govt job

there are many government jobs in which you can apply. if your interest is in banking, then you can go for the post of Probationary Officer in the nationalized banks. you can give the IBPS exam. you can also go for the civil services like IAS, IPS etc. if you interest is in social issues and want to do something for the country. these services are one of the best and reputed ones. you have to clear the civil services exams conducted by UPSC. you can also go in teaching line if you love teaching.
also most of the exams require a graduate to have minimum 60% pass at degree level.

B.Sc education qualification is sufficient to appear for government jobs like Indian Administration Service, Indian Public Service, All Bank PO's exam,Short Service Commission etc.
