In order to start a career in Government schools it is necessary to write the state level or national level tests. The test organized for state level is named as STET or State Teacher Eligibility Test. The one for national level is named as NET or National Eligibility Test. After clearing the test one can join in any Government School as a teacher.
    Its CTET not CTCT
CTET is conducted in two levels:
CTET Paper 1 for teachers who are aspiring to teach for Classes I-V: Primary Stage
CTET Paper 2 for teachers who are aspiring to teach for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
For Primary Stage you have to hold of degree of senior secondry or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    For Elementary stage:
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
