there are so many ways to pursue job in government sector...

you have lots of scope in govt sector like BSNL , MTNL , DRDO , SAIL , BHEL ,State Electricity Board , GAIL , BARC,ISRO,ONGC,NTPC etc.

Also you are eligible for UPSC EXAM like IFS , IAS ,IPS ,IES ,NDA ,SCRA etc.

Another options are BANK PO and BANK CLERK exam.

If you have to go for higher study . Then the options are JRF , SRF , MS ,MBA ,M-TECH ,PHD etc.

But you must be qualify in GATE or MAT or CAT exam .

you can write indian engineering services exam which lasts for three days.visit www.upsc.gov.in for more information on this exam
you can also try for various jobs in various government sectors like

isro, bsnl,bhel,sail,bel,drdo,ecil,aai,rrb,upsc,ntpc,bpc l,iocl(indian oil corporation limited),cds (combined defense service),coal india limited,pgcil
Damodar Valley Corporation,NPCIL nhpc

many of those exams require 60 percentage in graduation some othose like isro ntpc require above 65percentage also.

apart from those you can also apply for some private companies like adani power , reliance power,jindal steel and power limited etc

if you like to go for software sector you know there are a lot of companies like tcs wipro ibm etc




you can also try for government bank jobs also recently 19 govt banks have decided to conduct a common bank exam also try for that all the best

The examination is done in two phases ::

Eligibility ::

You must have passed your graduation in any streams from recognized college

You should be between 21 to 30 years .There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students .The 5 years in upper age limit is extended for the SC/ST and for OBC i is extended to 3 years .

IES ::[B]It is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services (IES).

You must have got Degree in any one of the following :

Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Communications Engineering
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Final year students are also eligible.

Your age should be not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years.There is relaxation for SC/ST in upper age limit of 5 years and for OBC its 3 years

CDSE:: CDSE is the exam which is conducted by UPSC every year to select students various forces ::
