Re: Government jobs for MCA student?

MCA qualified candidates can try to for technical job positions in different government divisions. If you are interested in banking field, you can apply for Specialist Officer/Probationary Officer positions in reputed nationalized banks. You can get in to these positions only if you are able to clear bank recruitment examinations. You can look for job notifications in public sector firms like BSNL, CDAC, SAIL, and BHEL etc. Research and Development companies like ISRO, DRDO, and BARC etc also call for technical roles in specific departments. They conduct written examination and select candidates on the basis of that. You can try for jobs in Railways, Civil services, Income tax, Customs etc. Since a post graduate, if you are interested towards academic area one can try for Lecturer/Assistant Professor position in any government college or University. NET is the qualifying which you need to appear in order to get selected for this post.
