    A engineering student have wide opportunities and chances in government sector.In fact for government sector only a degree is enough,you have a technical degree that is even more helpful.You should know that government does not have specialization subjects demands,only degree is considered to be enough.You have opportunities in

    1)SAIL.
    2)DRDO.
    3)ARMY
    4)NAVY.
    5)AIR FORCE.
    6)BSNL.
    7)RAILWAYS.
    8)BANKING.
    9)ISRO.
    10)CPF.
    11)CIVIL SERVICES.
    12)INDIAN COASTAL GUARD.
    13)INCOME TAX OFFICER.
    14)SUB INSPECTOR.

    A B.Tech student can get Govt.Sector job through Entrance/CWE/examinations.For example they can appear Civil Services exam.IAS/IPS/IRS/CDS, Banking CWE for clerk/PO .

    Eligibility for Civil Services:

    • A Graduate from the recognized University in any stream can write UPSC Civil Services.
    • AGE:21-30 Years, relaxations for OBC:3 years,S/C S/T: 5 years, PWD: 10 years.
    • Nationality: Indian.
    • Attempts:General: 4 attempts. OBC: 7 attempts.S/C S/T: No limit.

    Bank clerk eligibility:


    • Any Graduate from the recognized University in any stream can write IBPS/SBI clerk CWE.
    • AGE: 18-28 years relaxations OBC: 3 years, S/C S/T: 5 years.
    • Nationality: Indian.


    PO Eligibility:


    • Any Graduate From the recognized University in any discipline having minimim 60% marks can write IBPS ON LINE PO CWE.
    • AGE: @1-30 years, relaxations for OBC: 3 years, S/C S/T: 5 years.
    • Nationality: Indian.

    hello friend,

    After the completion of B.tech you can apply for the many government job post according to your interest but in every government department job post you need to be write the entrance exam which has been conducted by the own government department

    SOme government job posts which are follows in which you can apply :

    >>> Civil services like
    IAS
    IPS
    IFS
    IRS etc through the civil service entrance exam which has been conducted by the UPSC deoartment

    2. Bank department job post in tecnical field through the IBPS entrance exam which has been conducted by the IBPS department in which 19 banks pariticipated

    3. IN government PSU companies job posts like

    SAIL
    GAIL
    ONGC
    MTNL
    ISRO
    DRDO
    POWER GRID
    BSNL
    HP
    COAL INDIA etc

    for these companies job post through the GATE entrance exam or entrance exam has been conducted by own department

    5. You can apply for the job post under the Railways department through the RRB entrance exam

    6. you can apply for the CBI,, CID, Income tax officer job post

    so according to your interest you can apply any one of these job post and do it preparation of respective entrance exam
