It is a good decision to get in to teaching field after M.Com. You can become a PGT teacher after M.Com. But along with PG qualification, you need to also obtain a B.Ed degree to get in to teaching field. 50% marks in graduate or post graduate level is compulsory to apply for B.Ed course. To become a government teacher, candidates need to also appear for CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test) which is normally conducted by CBSE. You need to score 50% marks in B.Ed so as to become eligible to attend this test. If you are able to get through CTET exam, you can apply for teaching jobs in Kendriya Vidyalaya and other government schools etc. You will be called for a personal interview and Teaching demo if you qualify CTET.

    Dear Aspirant;

There are four type of teaching posts available in Govt. sector.

    1) Primary school teacher (For becoming a Primary school teacher a candidate has to passsed a D.ED course with a recognised board)
    2) Secondary school teacher (For this a candidate has to passed out B.ED two years coarse from a recognised board)
    3) Lecturer post in Govt. colleges.(For this you have to apply for NET exam conducted by Central Government)
    4) Professor Post in Universities. (For this Mphil or PHD is the minimum qualification requries)

My advice is, as you are eligible for the above 3 posts, you had to apply for NET exam.

NET exam forms are easily available in Postoffices / universities.

    With regards

    Dear Aspirant,

For being a Govt Teacher you have to do B.ed.

After doing B.ed you can apply for TET/CTET examination and finally selected as a Govt Teacher.

There are two ways also to be a Govt Teacher without doing B.ed:

    1. PGT ( Post Graduate Teacher )

Minimum Qualification for PGT is Master Degree in related Subject.
After passing in PGT, you have get the chance to be a lecturer in Govt Colleges.
    2. NET ( National Eligibility Test )

Minimum Qualification for NET is Master Degree in related Subject.
After passing in NET, you have get the chance to Be a Lecturer in Govt Degree Colleges.

    with all good wishes...........
