    How to become higher official in government being a B.Sc graduate and completed PGDBM with IGNOU?

    Dear sir,
    My name is srinivas. now i am doing job wich is not suitble for my attitube and my dreams due to my family financial status. i am B.Sc graduate and also recently completed PGDBM with IGNOU. my ambition is different. I have been trying for a position which influence society. my target is become higher official in government.
    eventhough doing present job i am continuesely trying for that through getting additional techniqal qualification(AMIE AND MBA).
    But due to critical and heavy workload and continous journeys of my present job i am not able to spend time for my dream job. now i am preparing for groups(APPSC). Even i am not able to read for 2 hours in a day. but should do this job no alternatives for my financial needs. now i am at 26 al most all
    i have crassed the valuble time my life. some time i feel that can i achieve my
    goal.
    but i have small hope that i could get my dream true. so kindly give me suggestions to get on this problem and how can i reach my goal. i awail for ur valuble advise.

    If you want to offical job in govenment sector than you can join adminstrative service in indian and in your state. You can give exam like
    IAS
    also you can get job of officer in defce by giving exam like
    IMA
    AFA
    INA
    AFCAT
    OTA
    CDS
    IN POLICE YOU CAN GIVE EXAM OF
    IPS
    in forestry
    IFS
    you can go for MBA by qualifying entraca exam like
    MAT
    CAT
    SCAT
    XMAT

    if you really want to achieve your goal you have to choose one thing at a time as you said you are unable to achieve due to your current job, i would suggest you to take a leave before any of your exams for higher official in a government and prepare for it if your company allows you to take a leave otherwise leave the job and live your dream because unless and until you won't achieve it you will not get satisfaction.. and do not think of your age as till 30 you can apply for government jobs and for experienced one there are some relaxations,All the best.

    Dear aspirant,
    You have a lot of options to become higher official in government secotr.
    You can appear for the following exams:
    SSC CGL
    Post office exams
    Civil services IAS
    Bank PO jobs( it is also a secured job).

    The best and easy option with more vacancies is SSC CGL:

    Pattern of Exam:
    Tier I (200 marks duration 2 hours)
    (a) General Intelligence & Reasoning - 50 marks
    (b) Gen.Awareness - 50marks
    (c) Quantitative Aptitude 50 marks
    (d) English Comprehension 50 marks

    Tier 1 cut off:
    General: around 80
    OBC: around 70
    SC/ST:around 60

    Tier II (400 marks)
    (I) Quantitative Abilities 200 marks (100 Questions) 2 hours
    (II) English Language & Comprehension 200 marks.

    Total cut off:
    tier1 + tier2
    General: around 340
    OBC: around 320
    SC/ST: around 290




    The best recommended books for SSC are as follows:


    (a) General Intelligence & Reasoning - 50 marks- S chand
    (b) Gen.Awareness - 50marks- Arihant GK, Upkar publication, pratiyogita darpan, current affairs of mahendra publication
    (c) Quantitative Aptitude 50 marks - S chand, RS Agarwal, Dinesh Khattar
    (d) English Comprehension 50 marks- Objective english by Bakshi, Arihant publication, Upkar publication.
