    Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has called in for various positions which are vacant in UPSC. The notifications regarding the various posts in UPSC have been published. The position of Assistant Commissioner (Fishing Harbor) has been called in which comes under the department of Animal Husbandry, dairying and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture.

    The important requirements for the above mentioned position of Assistant Commissioner are as follows –

    The candidates should be an engineering graduate having specialization in Civil. The candidates should have secured the qualifications from any recognized university or college.

    The candidate should have at least seven years experience relating to planning and construction of harbors. The candidates will be initially posted in Delhi but the candidate should be willing to serve anywhere in India. The candidates should not be above 40 years. There is relaxation in case of the reserved categories such as the SC/ST/OBC, physically handicapped and other categories. The candidates if appointed will be on a probation period of 1 year as per the rules. The candidates who are interested will have to forward the applications in the prescribed format within the last date of the receipt of the applications.
