    How can I prepare for Clerk Exam? Government jobs on the basis of 12th or graduation?

    how can i prepare for clerk entrance exam or
    can u plz tell me govt. job on 12th base or pursuing graduation

    HI,
    The exam consist the following topics :
    1.Aptitude
    2.Reasoning
    3.Basic computer knowledge
    4.English
    5.General awareness

    If you are perfect in these topics then you can pass the exam easily.
    As compare with PO exam Clerk exam is easy.
    But you need to practice the aptitude regularly, and you have to know the general awareness from new papers, TV, Net.
    Qualification:Any degree with minimum 55%.
    Age limit:18 - 28 years.
    Only few banks are asking 12th based candidates so you not eligible for all types of banks.
    You can apply for RAILWAY JOBS, AND INDIAN ARMY JOBS based on 12th standard.

    better to take coaching...if not buy a book from shop (kiran publisher's-ibps or pnb or sbi xams soon so..k.)
    after graduation u have better oppurnities please go for this website then you can what jobs are there based on your qualification.k

    If you will to join the banking sector with pursuring graduation degree, you can only apply for clerk post.
    . You should have a minimum of 50% in 12th standard.
    OR
    . A minimum of 60% in 10th standard is requied to apply for this post.
    . A reserved class candidate needs only pass in one of the above mentioned class.
    . Age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than :
    general 28 years,
    OBC 31 years and
    SC and ST 33 years.
    The written exam of objective nature consists of five parts each of 50 questions and 50 marks:
    1. General Awardness,
    2. Reasoning Ability,
    3. Quantitive Apptitude,
    4. English and
    5. Computer Knowledge.
    The time will be of 150 minutes. There will be negitive marking for wrong option.

    Preparation Procedure for Clerical Cadre Posts
    Generally every clerical exam have common syllabus those are as follows General Awareness,English Language,Reasoning,Numerical Ability,Computer Awareness.First you should check the notification or know the syllabus which exam do you want to attend.I mentioned above common syllabus for every clerical cadre exam
    Preparation Procedure:
    • You should read Magazines and News Paper for to improve your General Awareness
    • You should learn vocabulary day for day for English Language section in Clerical cadre exam
    • You should improve your reading power and understanding power for Reading Comprehension questions
    • You should learn Basics of English Grammar
    • You should learn Tables for Numerical ability for fastness to solve the problems
    • You should learn basics of Numerical ability concepts and solve example and exercise problems.
    • You should solve daily more puzzles for improve your reasoning power
    • For Computer awareness,You should know the basic terminology of Computers and Know about MS-Office and abbreviations,Short cut keys etc

    Dear friend,

    so to crack the exam or to achieve a good national rank in this exam, you will have to prepare thoroughly for the exam.

    Tips for ibps exam preparation:-


    -this is the time to start preparation for the ibps exam.donít neglect your valuable time and try to practice more.


    -you should have the knowledge regarding every subjects,manily general knowledge, current affairs and reasoning..


    -many students, taking coaching in institutes,and spending lots of money
    so,if donít want to join in any institute then you can purchase books and try to understand the concepts and work hardÖ


    some of the reccomended books are as follows:-


    1. Solved papers of bank clerk exam by kiran publications. This question bank contains questions from previous clerk exams (2003-2011) conducted by various banks (including ibps members) and its answers.


    2.quantitative aptitude -- abhijit guptas bank quantitative aptitude book
    and r.s.agarwal's


    3.general awareness - r p verma's encyclopedia of general knowledge and general awareness


    4.computer awareness -- arihant's objective computer awareness


    5.english -- u can refer to any book written specifically for bank exam
    one of them is hari prasad - objective english for competitive
    exams



    6.for practice -- upkar's bank probationary officers examination preparation book



    -my suggestion is to spend daily 1hr on reading times of india (or) hindi paper for current affairs.listen English news channels.

    i had complete 12th by 65%
    and done course of hardware & netwoking course
    given some idea what should i do?

    Eligibility for clerk exam:-
    1.12TH PASSED WITH AT LEAST 55%(50% IN CASE OF SC/ST/OBC) from a recognized university or graduate from a recognized university.
    2.Age minimum 18 years & maximum 28 years
    3.Age relaxation-SC/ST up to 5 years & OBC up to 3 years.

    In clerk exam you will get questions from different subjects like-REASONING,APTITUDE,ENGLISH,COMPUTER AWARENESS & COMPUTER AWARENESS.
    To qualify in exam you have to score more than 50% in each subjects.Suppose there are 200 questions then you have to score 100+ marks.duration of exam will be 120 or 150 minutes.There will also be negative marking,for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.If you qualify the exam then will call for interview.
    Study well for at least 4-5 hours a day.i suggest you to join coaching class for better preparation.
    You should also complete your graduation because once you complete your graduation you will be eligible to apply for many govt jobs like Bank PO,UPSC,SSC,CDS,AIR FORCE NAVY ARMY,RAILWAY ETC.
