    What is the scope of Mechanical engineering in getting public sector enterprises? What are the ways to do it?

    If You passed Your mechanical engineering With 65% of marks ..you will get Jobs in HAL,Oil India Ltd,HPCL....

    You Can Join HAL As A Assistant Engineer After Completing your mechanical Engineering....

    Hi, you being a mechanical engineer are eligible for post of engineer in any factory,steel plant, industries etc.

    You can also join the software sector or any private manufacturing firm.

    Being a B.Tech student there are a whole lot of govt services you can go for including Civil and Defence services.

    But as you asked about Public sector companies-

    1.You can join nationalized banks as specialist manager , this sector is fast growing.
    2. You can join government organisations like DRDO, HAL, SAIL, STEEL PLANTS& so on.
    3. And keep going through Employment news , many advertisements can be found regarding need of B.Tech Mech graduates for govt organisations.

    hi friend
    it sounds good that you are a mechanical engineer, this branch is mother branch of all engineering branches , a mechanical engineer are having many possibility in all sector just like that if you wanna go in private sector then top most companies just like that bhel, tata, L&T , and many more companies . but it's depend on your skills ,your knowledge ,if you have much knowledge then you are selected easily , minimum requirement of above 60%.

    AFTER mechanical engineering With above 60% of marks . You can appear in IES, and in the following PSUs

    NTPC,
    ONGC,
    HAL,
    SAIL
    GAIL
    EIL
    INDIAN OIL
    NFL
    Airport authority of india limited
    Coal India Ltd.(CIL) etc and in Railways also

    after btech with mechanical with 60% , you should give exam IES EXAM which is conducted by UPSC.

    AFTER the pursuing IES exam u can get govt jobs like:

    1.ONGC

    2.RVPNL

    3.SAIL

    4.GAIL

    5.INDIAN OIL

    If you pass your degree with 60 percentage.The you will have oppurtunities in
    HAL,
    BEL,
    BHEL,
    ISRO,
    DRDO,
    RAILWAY JOBS,
