    Dear friend

if your college is good than BHEL will visit in your college and selected those students who secures the good marks inthe GRAduation till that time.
if it will not come in your college than you should give the offline exam of this.

criteria for BHEL exam is------->engineering degree with atleast 60% '
age criteria-------------------->should not be more than 27 years.

    exam have two parts .

Re: How to get started for Preparation of BHEL?

The Bhel examination is done in two phases ::

    1.Written exam
    2.Interview .

Written exam consists of two sections :

    Section I:

    Quantitative aptitude
    Logical thinking
    Reasoning ability,
    English language
    General awareness.

    Section II:
It is technical test which is divided into two parts .

Part I :It consist of General Engineering questions
Part II:Question asked will be related to streams which you have chosen .

Tips to prepare for the BHEL::

Make a proper time table and try to follow it regularly .

Time management is a key role in these kind of examinations as questions asked are more and the time is less .So do proper time management to completely attempt the questions papers.

Solve previous year questions paper and model papers to understand the pattern of the examination .

Find out your weak areas before the examination and give maximum time to prepare for it .

Make notes for quick revision before the examination .

Books to prepare for the exam :

For Mechanical students : - objective questions by Galgotia Publications
Guide to BHEL Mechanical Engineering by G.K Publications

    Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited

IF you want to get the job in BHEL, then I will say prepare for GATE

BHEL recruiting graduate engineer from 2012 so, it will not take any separate exam but through GATE 2012 score , they will call you for Interview.

Note: Providing you GATE Broucher in which you can see your syllabus and important dates.
