as per Govt. of India Rules any Govt. Employee has to work for 8 Hrs a day for 5 days in a week . But all gazetted officer are liable to serve around the clock (if required). Some time work is related to the long matters / policy matters. therefore, how many works completed per day, it can not be say.

you are not mentioned about the job. But for all the jobs mostly the working hour is from morning 9'o clock to evening 5'o clock. some of them has site work and they work and they went home early then the others.

It depends the type of work you are doing and your ability to the things fast. If you can finish up your assignment well in time, 8hours of daily job is enough. If the job demands, 1-2 extra hours wof work is good.

it all depends from country to country ,every country has thier own rules but if you talk about India than there are approx 40 hours a week as there are five working days monday to friday and there are 8 hours to work in a day so it will be 40 hours a week so saturday and sunday are weekdays but in some cases saturday is half day

According to the Factories act 1948 a 48 hour working week is allowable for government employees which is 9 hours a day work for six days where Sunday is a holiday .
However a few government offices say banks,post offices etc work for 5 1/2 hours a week where on Saturday with half -a-day work.. The Government of India in some of its offices also follows a 5-day week schedule[r week starting Monday to Friday.

And the completed work per day depends on you.how much work u can do in a day.

according to our govt. the employees in the working in the govt. sector should work a minimum of 8 hours per day;
and 6 days per week;
the time of working depends some times on the shifts, some times on the designation of the empolyee, and for certain posts in the govt. the empolyee hav to work more than 8hours...

Same is the case for his work load per day.. but to work as a govt employee, one thing should be kept in the mind that more the efficient work u r performing more would be the profit of the community n more u only would be benefited..
