    How should i prepare for a government job being in 2nd year of B.Tech?

    i am a btech 2nd year pass out student...how should i prepare to get a government job...??

    Friend ... First complete your B.tech with good marks ie. above 65% aggregate . After that you will get many opportunities or you can try in final year too .
    You want to prepare in advance then first set your one aim that what you want to Be ? Because there are so many companies where you can apply or many exams which you can give after B.Tech .

    Preparation can be done only from the most recommended books and you can get that book from the market .
    I advice that be alert of general awareness and your stream knowledge . This will help you a lot at the time of the exam .

    Hi buddy.

    As you are a B.Tech student I would have also like to know your branch.

    But being a B.Tech student the best sector in government is Defense services.

    You can serve for our country and become a respected personality in our society.

    After completion of your B.Tech you can apply in various SSC(Short service commission) entries for commissioned officers.

    You can also apply for UES(University entry scheme) in your third year.

    To apply for these defense services you need to visit following websites regularly apply for the same when notifications are there.

    For Indian army

    for Indian navy

    To prepare for these services you need to be strong in the following sections.

    Quantitative aptitude,General English,Logical reasoning.

    You can become probationary officer and specialist officer in the public sector banks.
