Re: If I get around 55% in the 12th class exam can I attend the bank exams?

In order to enter the banking job is a good decision taken by you since there are numerous opportunities in the area of banking now. The percentage of marks that a candidate gets in both the 10th class and 12th class will not be an important criterion that determines the bank exams. It is the graduation level marks that determine the decision of attending the bank exams.

The general requirements for attending any bank exams are as follows –

The candidate should be a graduate in nay discipline. The candidates should have secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination. Also the candidate should have secured graduation from any recognized university or college.

The candidate should be between 21-30 years provided there will be relaxation in case of reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.
The general criteria’s will differ from for different banks.

The candidates should attend the written examination for recruitment in to various positions. The short listed candidates in the written exam will be called in for further process of recruitments which will be personal interview. The candidates who are selected will have to undergo a medical examination as per the bank direction in which a particular candidate is selected.

With 55% in 12th class you can very well attend so many government bank clerk exams. There are many banks like corporation bank, andhra bank, dena bank, indian bank, bank of india and so many gramin banks who only demands 50 or 55% in 12th class to sit in this exam. Your age should be 18 to 27 years.
