    Is IGNOU for MCA advisable for an average student? How to work and learn together?

    I'm a Bsc CS graduate. Currently i'm doing the final semester of GNIIT from NIIT. Now i got a job in a highly reputed software company. The issue right now is, whether to take on the job and do MCA from IGNOU(part-time). But many say, doing a part time MCA is not of good value. And once u get into a job, u wont be able to study..etc. Please advice me on the following issues.
    1. Whether MCA from IGNOU is of good value and is it advisable for an average student like me.
    2. Working and Studies together.."i know it all depends on my determination" but i'm very much confused !?

    Dear Aspirant;

    If you do MCA from regular universities then you have to wait Three years for doing job, after completing you have to do job in ordinary companies for two to three years for making experience.

    If you do from regular university totally you will waste your six years for getting good payment.

    OR

    IGNOU comes under UGC and had more value compare to under distance universities.

    As per my suggestion, you have to continue your education from Distance education only,
    because right now you are deployed while studying from distance you will gain around three years of experience.

    After completing your education you can join in big MNCs because till that time you will have both Degree + Experience = Handsome Salary.

    With regards

    Dear friend
    MCA stands for master of computer application and if you want to persue MCA than you will have to study for proper knowledge about programming language, networking, data base, software engineering etc and without study its not possible. suppose you have completed MCA and you dont have much knowledge about your releted subject than the degree you have is just treated as garbage. In other words knowledge is also very important with degree.

    MCA FROM IGNOU IS ADVISABLE FOR AVEGARE STUDENT OR NOT??

    Friend You persue mca from IGNOU or from any other university/colleges, you have to study for better knowledge and job. It is true that IGNOU is tough but if you work hard tha you can complete MCA with good percentage.

    WORKING AND STUDIES TOGETHER.....

    While doing job its quite difficult to study specially the courses like MCA and other programme in which practical knowledge is important. You can complete Theoritical part of your syllabus by your own but you may face problem in practical. so if you have sufficient practical knowledge about your subject than you might do this.

    If you are looking for a bright future then you should go with a regular MCA programme from a recognized institution then you should get a good job in software industry. I you want to do career with GNIIT then you should make a good career but it should be harder for you. So try to do regular MCA from a recognized university. Best of Luck.
