    Hello dude!

It is good even though you go for Higher studies or job.

Coming to Higher studies, you can pursue M.Tech or M.B.A.In recent years M.B.A has gained immense popularity and the job offers are also increasing.

So,I suggest you to prefer M.B.A.

Besides, you can apply for government jobs also.

    * If you did not write GATE exam,i suggest you to write the exam as you are in final year because there are many opportunities by writing that exam.

    * Most of the Public Sector Undertakings are recruiting candidates based on the Gate Score,so if you get a good score then you may be selected.

    * Good GATE SCORE will also help you to fetch seat in government colleges for pursuing Higher studies.

    * You can write bank exams which will help you in gaining a job in Banking sector.

    * You can also find jobs related to your education in Indian Army and Indian Navy.

    * Postal jobs is also a good sector where you can have a comfortable job.

Coming to the specializations in M.Tech,My opinion is that Prefer a Best college where there are 100% placements and when you opt. Such college, you need not bother about the specialization in M.Tech.

HOPE THE INFORMATION HELPED YOU AND ALL THE BEST.

    Hello
Yes... You have plenty of options after your B.Tech other than Software. In the case of government sector you need to crack the entrance exam along with interview in some of the organisations... Some of the government organisations where you have the chance to apply are
    1.BSNL
    2.NTPC
    3.ONGC
    4.ISRO
    5.DRDO
    6.Indian Railways
    7.Banking Sector
    8.Civil service exams etc......

Writing PGCET is a good option, if not job. As you are a ECE student I would ask you to take the specilizations like VLSI and Robotics... These have a very good demand in the market for a good job... All the Best...
