Re: Information regarding scope of Airlines?

    Hi,

    1. There are many job opportunities in Airline Industry.

    2. The airline job demands long working hours in the peak session.

    3. Cabin Crew: Its having the most demand in Airline Industry. For this you can join in any institute that conduct the courses for air hostesses and flight stewards. These courses train and groom you for the airline industry and the duration of such courses is normally one year.

    4. Ticketing Executives: This job mainly deals with preparing itineraries for the passengers, creating passenger name record, issuing pre-paid ticket advice and issuing tickets. But doing all this is not possible unless you are properly trained in it. If you wish to start your career as a Ticketing Executive, you need to complete at least a foundation ticketing course conducted by International Air Transport Association. This is a 6 months course and the eligibility criteria is secondary education.

5.Domestic Pilots: This is highly paid job in the Airline Industry. They have to work for long hours and are considered to be highly responsible staff members. There are so many flying schools that offer courses to become authorized and well trained pilots. These courses are highly expensive.

6.Like this there are so many posts such as Immigration Officers, Lobby Managers, Custom Officers, Air traffic controller etc.
