    Job opportunities and their packages after literature study in India?

    hey!
    i am a bit confused with engineering and literature..im interested in both equally...but people all over are saying that there are very less job opportunities for engineers and even if there are job opportunities, they dont fetch you more money!.
    What are the job opportunities and job packages after studying literature in India and if possible in south india..!?? please reply as soon as possible.!

    First of all I would say its not just interest but excellence also matters...so using your excellence and interest calculate that which field you should really get in engineering or literature . Their are many job opportunities for engineers and they are paid handsomely also.
