Re: Job Opportunity after Chemical Engineering?

    dear parent..
i must first appreciate your eagerness and enthusiasm towards your daughters education..
    coming to your question..
chemical engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with the use of chemicals for various engineering practices and application in the engineering field as such..
every industry .. be it mechanical civil biotechnology etc is dependent on chemicals and chemical based products for some parts of its operation.. so to make a strong statement .. chemical engineering is a very vibrant and booming field..
with the opening of many oil firms like reliance petrochemicals etc which operates on the basic principles of chemical engineering.. i would like to say that there is a lot of demand for chemical engineers in such companies etc...
not only petroleum field.. but there are other areas like plastic and leather industry which require chemical engineers for their operational team...
chemical engineering is also one of the fields that supports the biotechnology field in many ways.. it is used for the separation of cell contents and filtration , fermentation etc.. the down stream processing which is one of the important process in biotechnology is dependent on chemical engineering techniques..
so by this i would like to convey that chemical engineering is a subjects which has demands in many sectors and getting a job would also not be a problem until a consistent academic performance is maintained by your daughter..
mu best wishes to your daughter..
    thank u
