    Jobs available after B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 73%?

    Sir, I am final year b.tech civil engg student. I have an aggregate of 73% what are the various jobs i can apply in the final year itself. thankyou.!

    Private Sector Jobs after B.Tech in Civil Engineering
    Candidates who possess a graduate degree in Civil Engineering can very lucrative jobs with the private sector. It is also possible for them to go for research if they pursue Masters Courses.
    Students, if they prefer then Teaching in colleges would come up as an excellent choice for those with a teaching flair. Many private colleges have come up in this space. In that case, they should appear for GATE and try to get admission to some M.Tech program

    there will be off-campus and on-campus interview in various construction companies so i think you can apply for that
    and you have to take preparation for that as there will be a written test and for this you can follow r.s.aggarwal for reasoning, verbel and non-verbel skills, mathematics.

    As you get good marks in your degree examination you are more than eligible to write all the competitive exams to get jobs in Government Sector Companies.
    As the eligibility criteria for Government Jobs is 60 Percent of Marks and Age limit is 27 for General Category and OBC,SC and ST candidates have relaxation


    1)You can appear for UPSC Exam and IES in UPSC specially conducted for Civil,Mechanical and Electrical Fields.No.of Vacancies for Civil Department in IES more than the both.
    Marks required to get a Job also minimum when compared to Mechanical and Electrical Departments
    You will get placed in Indian Goverment organisations like Indian Railway Store Service and various firms which requires Civil Engineers for Analyst,and Constructional Works

    You can also appear for state Government Public Service Commissions to get the Local Government Jobs.

    The various Jobs in Government Organisations:
    1)You can apply for the post of Junior Telecom officers in BSNL
    2) Assistant Manager Post in NDMC Limited
    3)Assistant Engineer in Hindustan Insecticide Limited
    4)Site Engineer in Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd

    You can also write Indian army technical section exam,Indian navy exam and Indian Airforce exam as well
