As you are a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering,
You can better opt two exams to Join in Indian Railways,

IES:
This exam is held by Union Public Service Commission once per year,And the eligibility for this exam is a Bachelor degree in any of Civil,Mechanical,Electrical,E.communication Engineering with atleast 60 Percent of marks and the age must be atleast 21.
The exam will be of both questions objective and Conventional,
It covers the General Awareness.General English and Your Subjects.Grade A Post will be offered for the candidates get success in this exam and the later interview.

RRB:
Railways Recruitment Board Conducts exams to select the candidates to work for Indian Railways.You can get Grade C Job with this exam,But It will be a bit easier when compared to IES and You will lesser competitors than IES as RRB is sectioned as zones.

You can also appear Special Class Railway Apprentice Test

Railway exams are conducted every year by the RRB (Railway Recruitment Board).

The exam is open for graduates with bachelors degree who have a career aggregate above 50%.

You can get through the RRB website for the details of exam dates, syllabus etc.

The questions asked are mostly aptitude and GK.
