    dear friend,

if your husband have secure 60% above then your husband is eligible for bank po exam.

If the graduation institute is UGC approved then he is eligible for BANK PO exam.

    thanks

Re: Is my son eligible for Bank Clerical and PO jobs after doing MBA without intermediate and B.Com privately?

    Dear Aspirant,

Though your question is NOT giving full details as how he was taken admission in to B.Com Degree Course without Intermediate/10+2
without details of college/university, it becomes little difficult to say anything regarding the validity of that Graduation he possessed.

But what I have understood, and with my assumption I have come to a conclusion that your Husband must have completed
the said B.Com Graduation course under Open University System (with minimum qualification OR No qualification criteria) i.e.
with minimum age criteria and successfully completed further education and acquired even MBA qualification. That’s really
appreciated effort on his part in proving himself and his interest in studies.

These Open Universities normally are formed under State Acts and are duly funded/inspected by UGC Board on the various
functions of that Open University. Qualifications attained from these universities are valid as per Govt of India.

So whenever your husband applies for any job only to see the Qualification criteria and His Age applicability given by recruiter
i.e. If recruiter clearly mentions that Open University qualifications are not eligible OR
Any instructions like the Graduation must have been done under 10+2+3 Pattern and without that candidates are barred to apply.

So legally speaking then only the ineligibility implies/applicable for that post.
    ---------------------------------
NOW COMING TO YOUR ACTUAL QUERY

The Educational Qualification criteria in earlier pattern for Bank Clerk Grade examinations were also differed from Bank to Bank.
For example State Bank of India wanted only candidates with minimum qualification of 10+2/Intermediate and higher.
And for some Gramin Banks it was only Matriculation/10th Class with 60% minimum and so on.

Since the whole pattern is changed now (except for SBI & its sister banks) due to introduction of a new system called
IBPS-Institute of Banking Personnel Selection CWE-Common Written Exam (i.e. IBPS CWE) of conducting tests for
    19-Nationalised Banks’ various Officer/Clerical posts.

As per the present IBPS CWE, it only Matriculation/10th Class with 60% Marks as Minimum Educational Qualification for
applying for Clerical Cadre posts in those 19 Banks and the age of the applicant should be between 18 Yrs to 28 Yrs
(Age relaxations SC/ST-5 Yrs and OBC-3 Yrs etc applicable).
    ----------------------------------
    IN CONCLUSION

It can be generally said that if your husband has 60% marks in 10th Class then he is normally eligible to apply for IBPS CWE
Clerical Cadre if not also with his Graduation/MBA qualifications he is becoming eligible for Clerical Cadre posts.
But his age criteria to be within the said brackets.

Further your husband is formally becoming eligible to appear for Probationary Officers’ Exam conducted by IBPS CWE with his
B.Com and MBA qualifications provided those courses are completed from a recognised university/college under open university
or other. The Age criteria for POs is : Minimum 20 Yrs and Maximum 30 Yrs. (plus age relaxations if applicable)

I also request you to read complete details of notification for more clarity in this regard. At present IBPS Clerical Cadre Notification
is released and he can apply accordingly and wait for shortly expected POs notification too.

Hope now your doubt on the matter is cleared. If you have any further queries please feel free to ask in this informative Web Portal Forum.

    Best of Luck
