    Dear friend
An optical fiber is a flexible, transparent fiber made up of pure glass (silica) not much thicker than a human hair.
there is not any phenomenon process in optical fibers (Please clerify your queston)
There are many used of optical fibers like wave transmitting, fiber-optic communications etc which are itself works on Optical transmit phenomena i;e " light travel inside optical fibre in an critical angle"
    Please correct your question.

optical fibrer are very thin flexible transperent fibre made by silica for transfer of data from one place to another. it is used to transfer data as there is very less data loss during data transfer. . it also transfers data at a very high speed. .

Optical fibres are very thin fibres made from silica for transfer of data. these fibres are thinner than the human hair. these cables transfer data at a very high speed . these work on the phenomenon of reflection. .. the cables are hollow from inside and the data reflects from the walls of the cable and travel from one place to another. . the broadband use the optical fibres to transfer data from one place to another.
